Our worship is a blend of the old and the new—in both liturgy and music.

By using prayers, texts, and tunes shared by God's people across centuries, continents, and cultures, we acknowledge our place in the larger story of God's work in his world. By using new songs and prayers written by and for our own church community, and by involving local artists from Philadelphia's rich music scene, we celebrate God's presence and activity among us here and now in this city.

  • We worship on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am at our Center City building (17th & Sansom), near Rittenhouse Square.

  • Our service is structured around a liturgy - a way of corporately embodying God’s story in our worship - that runs for approximately 90 minutes. We celebrate communion each week and follow the seasons of the liturgical calendar. All you need to follow along will be in your Sunday bulletin!

  • Nursery is provided for children 6 to 30 months throughout the service. Children’s Church is held for kids preschool to 5th grade during the sermon. See our children’s ministry page for more info about kids at Resurrection.

  • Yes, we have space inside the building to securely store your bike or stroller during the service. When you arrive, a greeter can direct you to where they can be parked.

  • Free parking is available at the Liberty Place Garage (between 16th & 17th and Market & Chestnut). Enter the garage by the hotel on 17th or at the entrance on 16th, get a ticket at the gate and a chaser ticket from the greeters at our service. When you exit the garage, you’ll scan your parking ticket followed by the chaser ticket, and then the gate will go up.

  • Public transit riders can get a SEPTA voucher from our greeters that covers the cost of their return journey on SEPTA.

    • The closest trolley station to Resurrection is located at 19th and Market (~10 minute walk)

    • The closest BSL stop is Walnut-Locust (~5 minute walk)

    • The closest MFL stop is 15th Station (~7 minute walk)
