Making Room: Women's Study for Advent

Advent is a season of hopeful preparation as we remember Christ's birth and anticipate his coming again… and yet it can be a season in which it’s particularly difficult to “make room” to be attentive to God. Join us for a 3-week Advent Study for women on Friday mornings (9:30-11:30 am) at Resurrection where we seek to "make room" together.

Each week we'll do a short Bible study, take some time for a contemplative prayer practice (with both group and solo options), and then regather to give thanks as we close.

Please note the ages of any children you'd like to reserve a spot for so we know how many children we might have in care. We'll confirm with you once we're fully staffed.

Veritas Forum Event: Making Life Meaningful (When Life is Mediocre)

Ryan McCormick, who heads up our University Ministry, is coordinating a Veritas Forum event on Penn's campus featuring a dialogue between Jed Atkins of the University of North Carolina and Susan Sauve Meyer of Penn on what classics, philosophy, and religious traditions have to tell us about how to live a flourishing life.
