Accessibility at Resurrection
Our Sansom Street entrance is street level. If assistance is needed from curbside, call 267-854-0747 and a deacon will bring out a wheelchair and assist you into the building.
Each floor of the building is accessible by elevator except the sanctuary balcony. The elevator is locked for security reasons; please see a greeter for access.
Assistive listening devices are available; please see the sound booth for use during the service. To request an ASL interpreter, please email Olivia.
Large print bulletins and Bibles are available at the Sansom Street entrance.
Two single-user, accessible restrooms are available on the 2nd floor.
We serve communion each Sunday from the front of the sanctuary. People typically come forward to be served, but we’re happy to accomodate anyone who would like to be served from their seat. Please raise your hand after the last row of people have been served, and a server will bring you the elements. Each tray contains white grape juice and red wine; pre-packaged gluten free wafers are available in addition to cubed bread. Pre-packaged communion (wafer/red grape juice) is available from a greeter.
Childcare Related Accessibility
We have stroller parking just off the Sansom Street lobby.
Changing tables are located adjacent to the nursery, and there are wall-mounted tables in both the women’s and men’s rooms.
A Cry Room is located on the first floor at the end of the hall behind the Sanctuary. There are comfortable couches and chairs, and the service is streamed on a TV.
If you have requests or feedback, please contact Olivia. Thank you!
