What is the Bible, and what are we to do with it? How does the “authority of Scripture” relate to the authority of God? And what are we to make of the fact that among those who believe the Bible and follow Jesus by faith, we find many different approaches to and interpretations of the Scriptures? What do we do when we encounter apparent contradictions between what the Bible says and what we learn from other disciplines like science, history, or philosophy? 

If you ever wrestle with those questions and are interested in exploring them further, join us Sunday mornings for a three-week discussion about Scripture & the Authority of God. We will use N. T. Wright’s book by that title as a basis for the class. Reading the book is encouraged but optional, and you will be able to participate fully in the class without reading.
