Sunday Worship Service

What’s in a name? This Easter season, our newly merged church will begin to use our new name - Resurrection Philadelphia - as we celebrate both the good news of Jesus’ resurrection and the good work God is doing in bringing us together to seek God’s kingdom, share Christ’s life and love, and serve alongside our neighbors for the common good of this city.

So what does resurrection have to do with the church’s identity and vocation? How does resurrection shape the church’s message, mission, worship, community, and formation?

In other words, what does it mean to be The Resurrection Church?

For the next six weeks, we will explore this big question as we continue to celebrate Easter and reflect on New Testament texts from the Gospels and St. Paul’s letters to the apostolic church. We hope you will join us. Alleluia! Christ is risen!
