Faithful Eating: A 6-week Study of Food System Stewardship

“Eating is an agricultural act,” said farmer and writer Wendell Berry. Have you ever wanted to explore the many connections between your food and the wider world? During this online course, led by Ryan Vroegindewey, we’ll map out the food system from farm to fork and examine the environmental and social footprint of what and how we eat. Throughout our time, we’ll study how Scripture frames these topics, with the practical goal of becoming better stewards through everyday choices. It would be helpful but not necessary to read Stewards of Eden by Sandra Richter as we move through the discussion. Class will meet on Mondays, 8-9 pm, via Zoom, starting January 9. Register here!
