Emmanuel’s Thanksgiving Day Breakfast is a cherished tradition for many in Center City. It’s the time we serve a really hearty, home-cooked breakfast to our friends experiencing homelessness and food insecurity – many of whom may not get another meal that day.
We’ve set the shifts so you don’t need to miss out on your own family fun. Come on Wednesday, between noon and 2 pm to prep the potatoes and corral the condiments. And on the actual day, we’ve got two-hour shifts starting as early as 5:30 am and as late as 9:30 am. With all hands-on deck, we’re finished and out the door by 10:30 or 11.
On Thursday, we have indoor shifts for those who want to stay in the kitchen. And we have outdoor shifts for those who want to serve our guests their to-go breakfast.
